The story behind Vunnu Sleep
How It All Started
Three nights in 2017
In 2017, Jason and Marc shared a hotel room at a conference.
What Jason did not know was that Marc could rattle the walls.
By 3 a.m., Jason was lying awake in the dark, exhausted but unable to sleep, listening to Marc snore. It happened again the next night. And the next.
They laughed about it each morning, but the conversations that followed became about something much bigger than snoring.
Two very different sleepers
Marc had spent years protecting and tracking his sleep because he knew how much it affected the way he performed the following day.
A good night meant a clearer head, better focus and sharper decision-making. When he slept well, he was better equipped to think clearly, solve problems and get the most from the day ahead.
Jason knew the other side. A lifelong light sleeper, he had spent years waking at the smallest sound and pushing through days after broken nights.
For him, the impact became most obvious at home. When Jason had slept badly, he became less patient with his children. Small things frustrated him more quickly, and sometimes he was sharper with them than he wanted to be. That bothered him.
These were the people and moments that mattered most, yet tiredness was changing the way he showed up for them.
We know a poor night's sleep follows you into the next day
We've experienced it in different ways.
It can affect your energy. Your motivation. Your ability to focus and make decisions. Your patience. The choices you make. And how much of yourself you have left for the people around you.
We know how frustrating that can be, and there is no single solution that works for everyone.
Better sleep is rarely about one thing
Sleep is personal. Your routines are different. Your environment is different. What keeps you awake might not bother someone else at all.
Sometimes it is noise. Sometimes it is stress, timing, comfort, habits, or a combination of things.
We don't believe in one magic fix. We believe better sleep comes from small improvements working together.
Each change might seem small on its own. Together, they can make a meaningful difference.
Why Vunnu Sleep exists
Too many people have simply gotten used to being tired. We don't think that should be normal.
We understand how much poor sleep can take from the day that follows, because we've experienced it ourselves.
Our purpose is to help people understand how to improve their sleep and build better nights, one step at a time.
More energy. More focus. More patience. More of yourself for the people and moments that matter.
We care about the life you wake up to.
